Creative Queenstown Arts & Crafts Markets
They’re back!
Come and enjoy these fabulous markets right on the shores of Lake Wakatipu. They never actually left, but summer hours kicked in from the beginning of this month (Nov) which means more relaxation time for you!
Saturday in Queenstown just isn’t a Saturday without spending time at the Creative Queenstown Arts and Crafts Markets.
Pick up a coffee, and stroll around a large number of stands which feature a wonderful mix of arts, crafts, music and local food. If you want to embrace the locals, then this is your first stop – the markets are famous for attracting store holders from all over the South Island, bringing with them a touch of ‘Kiwiana’, a huge amount of friendliness and a wonderful diversity of talent.
This is where you’ll find that uniquely Queenstown gift for your loved ones back home! From art to carvings, metal work to jewellery, pottery & photography, to fibre arts & crazy accessories, and wood design, soaps and fragrances – this is a true locals craft market!
Earnslaw Park is located adjacent to the lake, and in downtown Queenstown – walking distance from anywhere within the town boundaries!
The markets are open every Saturday from 9am to 4.30pm over summer with the occasional Fridays for special occasions – keep popping back to their website for an updated calendar.
