What is Earth Week?

Earth Week is an annual event starting on April 16th and finishing on Earth Day on April 22nd. It is a focused time to raise further awareness about the state of the environment and the need for environmental protection. Earth Week events and activities vary widely, but they typically focus on promoting sustainability, reducing waste, and protecting natural resources. Many organisations and individuals use Earth Week as an opportunity to launch new environmental initiatives, such as community clean-up events, educational programs, and public awareness campaigns. Earth Week aims to create impactful awareness and inspire all of us with profiled examples of what real action looks like to protect our environment and our planet and what we can do as individuals, families and communities to create a more sustainable future.
