Welcome, all visitors to the Winter Pride 2022 Festival here in Queenstown, New Zealand - and especially our wonderful guests who have journeyed down for the festivities and are staying with us here at Spinnaker Bay Apartments.
It's going to be a spectacular 10 days of fun!
Every year, Queenstown is proud to host Winter Pride, New Zealand's biggest and best winter pride festival in the southern hemisphere where visitors and locals are encouraged to come together and celebrate their diversity! Its foundations are that of a celebration of love, community, diversity, visibility, safety and inclusion. For 10 days, Queenstown will light up in multicoloured signs, banners and decorations as we roll out the welcome and kick off this festival.
We are a small town but with a big welcoming heart, and we'd like to welcome you specifically to our fabulous apartments and accommodation on the lakeside. We are perfectly placed to access all the scheduled (and unscheduled) activities from our location, with easy commuting times to both Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.
Since its inception, Winter Pride has grown from a long weekend of fun to 10 full days, adjusting to its popularity and the demand to create a space to celebrate diversity, meet new people and create long-lasting memories.
Festivities
Festivities include a wide variety of on-mountain and off-mountain events, making sure there's something for everyone. From ski racing to evening shows and creative events to markets and connection-based lunches, Winter Pride have managed to pull together a broad range of celebrations and interaction activities.
